Installation guide

Installing Hyphan takes about 30 seconds.

  1. 1

Click the download button on hyphan.io. Windows 10/11 only — Mac and Linux are not yet supported.

  2. 2

Run the installer. It handles everything: writes its config silently, registers the background service, and starts the daemon for you.

  3. 3

Your browser opens to hyphan.io. Sign in with your email to access your dashboard and see your live earnings.

You never open a terminal. You never edit a config file. The installer is code-signed, the daemon auto-updates, and uninstalling is one click from Windows Add/Remove Programs.

How it stays safe

75% power cap

The daemon sets a hard power limit on your GPU at startup. Your card never draws more than 75% of its maximum rated power — this lowers temperatures, reduces fan noise, and extends hardware lifespan.

85°C thermal lock

The daemon checks your GPU temperature every 2 seconds. If it hits 85°C, earning stops immediately and all workloads are cleared until the card cools down.

Isolated inference engine

AI inference runs inside the Hyphan Inference Engine — an isolated process that accesses only your GPU via CUDA. It has no access to your files, your operating system, or your network beyond the encrypted Hyphan tunnel. Renters are completely blind to your machine and your identity.

Payouts

Hyphan pays you directly for your compute time. Your earnings accumulate in your dashboard and you cash out whenever you’re ready.

Earnings are transferred directly to your linked bank account via Stripe Connect — the same payment rails behind Shopify, Lyft, and DoorDash.
Cash out any time once your balance hits $10. No minimums, no schedules.
You don't need to link a bank account until you hit $10 in earnings — start earning immediately after install.

Once you're earning, your dashboard shows your real per-hour rate:
